I sat at my desk tonight, my html editor open and willing, and promptly fell asleep. I guess my day was that exciting.
I didn't really want to go anywhere tonight, but Miles coerced me out on promises of a movie at the theater and low cal meals at the restaurant.
Well, at least I got the salads portion of our deal. We got in the car after the feast and Miles turned to me to say, "You know, I don't really feel like a movie tonight." TYPICAL MILES! So we went to Best Buy to frolic in the midst of the computer gadgets.
There, we ran into Jason and his girlfriend, Ashley. Jason is trying to get in a lot of hours working for us so he can fund the buy Laura a laptop charity. He said so. I didn't even ask him; he offered. So, I am assuming that Miles is putting all of the money that the company earns off of Jason into a separate leisure account for me. That Jason. I think he probably enjoys having a goal like that to work towards. I should get a raise for motivating him.
Anyway, I found a collection of Doris Day/Rock Hudson movies that I wanted, and I forced the boy to watch Pillow Talk with me. He becomes rather petulant when he has to watch an "old" movie...but he enjoys them greatly. (Sort of like me and Cubs games....uh....except I never come to enjoy them...) shifty look left and right
Under my devoted tutelage, he has become a dedicated Bing Crosby fan. And what a surprise, but he enjoyed this movie too. Go figure. I must actually know what I'm talking about—STOP THE PRESSES!
